Applications Open - Falling Walls Lab Adelaide 2024

The University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia are pleased to present Falling Walls Lab Adelaide 2024.

Falling Walls Lab is a world-class pitch competition and networking forum, organised annually by the Falling Walls Foundation, a non-profit organisation in Berlin dedicated to supporting science and the humanities. Falling Walls is a unique international platform for leaders from the worlds of science, business, politics, the arts and society, fosters discussion on research and innovation, and promotes the latest scientific findings among a broad audience from all parts of society.

In three minutes, shortlisted participants will present their proposed solutions in response to the question, ‘As a result of scientific, technological, economic and sociological breakthroughswhich are the next walls to fall?’ to a jury of experts from across academia and business, as well as their peers and the general public.

The 2024 Adelaide pitch event will be held on Friday 19 July, in person, at the University of Adelaide. Registrations to attend will open later in June.

State winners will then participate in the National Finale in Canberra in August, with the Australian winners going on to compete in the Global Finale in Berlin in November.

Applications for Falling Walls Lab 2024 are now open and will close on Friday 5 July.
