International Student Awards - Oscar Ong

Oscar Ong, University of Adelaide SRC President, was given a High Commendation in the Support and Advocacy category of the StudyAdelaide International Student Awards.

Originally from Malaysia, Oscar has worked hard to provide international students with the support they need, especially throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. His achievements include:

  • Advocating for student welfare
  • Assisting in establishing the Student Support Package during COVID-19
  • Helping to introduce the pass non-graded system for 2020
