Falling Walls Lab Adelaide 2024 – Applications Open

Text: Falling Walls Lab Adelaide. The organisers are independent partners of the Falling Walls Foundation.

The University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia are pleased to present Falling Walls Lab Adelaide 2024. Applications are now open for students, post-graduate researchers and early career professionals to apply.

Falling Walls Lab is a world-class pitch competition and networking forum, organised annually by the not-for-profit, Berlin-based, Falling Walls Foundation.

In three minutes, each shortlisted participant will present their proposed solutions in response to the question: ‘As a result of scientific, technological, economic and sociological breakthroughs, which are the next walls to fall?’ to a jury of experts from across academia and business, as well as their peers and the general public.

State winners will then participate in the Australia National Finale held in Canberra on Friday 30 August, and the Australian winners will go on to compete in the Global Finale  in Berlin in November.

For eligibility criteria, see here.

Apply here  by Friday 05 July to be considered for the shortlist!

Please note that calls for applications may be extended at the discretion of Falling Walls Lab Adelaide.

The 2024 Adelaide pitch event will be held on Friday 19 July, in person, at the University of Adelaide. Registrations to attend will open later in June.
