IPAS members at Science Alive!

We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the members of the Australian Institute of Physics (AIP), Optofab Adelaide and the University of Adelaide Optica Student Chapter for their outstanding involvement in Science Alive! Invited for another year by the South Australian Science Teachers Association, your dedication and enthusiasm made a significant impact on the event’s success.

A special shoutout to Dr Chris Perrella, Dr Sarah Scholten, and Dr Ben Sparkes for their remarkable contributions. They showcased activities that allowed visitors to explore how light transmits information with laser radios and explained the science behind why coloured objects appear as they do.

Both the AIP and the Optica Student Chapter, which include many IPAS members, continue to inspire and engage with the community in extraordinary ways. Your hard work and commitment highlight the spirit and excellence that drive both organisations.

We also appreciate the team at Optofab Adelaide for their 3D printing assistance at the event.

Here’s to many more successes and impactful contributions in the future!
