Joint University Union Forum: Responding to NTEU Questions
To support a collaborative and productive approach to the creation of the new Adelaide University, and in recognition of the singular importance of the staff of both institutions to the transition, a Joint University Union Forum (JUUF) has been meeting regularly since July 2023.

Playford Trust Scholarships applications
The Playford Trust is offering up to 70 university scholarships for 2025 – with values ranging from $4,000 to $10,000 a year. They are available to applicants from current Year 12s through to PhD and a variety of priority areas. More information.

Festival of Learning and Teaching
Associate Professor Jason Lodge (University of Queensland) is delivering the keynote at the Festival of Learning and Teaching on Thursday 31 October. Staff wishing to submit proposals to present at the Festival can view full details on the Learning and Teaching webpage. Submissions due 9 am 5 September via the Microsoft Form.

Visualise Your Thesis People's Choice Award
Voting is now open for the 2024 Visualise Your Thesis People's Choice Award. Watch this year's submissions and make sure to vote for your favourite. The entrant with the highest number of votes will receive $250. Voting closes Friday 23 August.

New Bonython Hall amenities
New end-of-trip facilities with a shower, toilet and spacious change area have opened on the north-eastern side of Bonython Hall. The facilities are accessible with a staff or student swipe card on weekdays between 7 am and 7 pm via the Napier underground carpark. More information.

The next Connect & Share session in a series of opportunities for staff engagement and feedback will be themed Flexible Working Arrangements for male staff members.
