Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS)
The AHEGS is received as an addition to other graduation documentation, such as testamurs and academic transcripts.
Please note that AHEGS' are only available to graduates who were conferred in their award from December 2011 onwards.
What is an AHEGS?
An AHEGS is based on nationally agreed specifications approved by the Department of Education and Training.
The AHEGS provides a description of the graduate's award, the awarding institution, a list of academic achievements relevant to the award, and details of the Australian Higher Education System. An AHEGS is intended to provide potential employers and other institutions with a greater understanding of the achievements of the graduate.
You can find out more about the AHEGS on the Department of Education and Training website.
Will I get an AHEGS?
A complimentary digital AHEGS will be issued to all eligible University of Adelaide graduates after the conferral has been processed.
Graduating students prior to Semester 1 2017 conferral received a hardcopy AHEGS with their testamur (formerly known as a parchment).
