New Microsoft Teams Launching Soon

Microsoft will be releasing a new and upgraded version of MS Teams globally starting in Quarter 2 of 2023.

The update will include new features such as:

• Ability to stay logged in to multiple MS Teams accounts at any given time, and receive real time notifications for all accounts regardless of which account is currently in use.
• Faster response when switching between chats or channels, and when launching applications. 
• More advanced system security to help prevent, detect, and respond to cyberattacks. 

What do you need to do?

The MS Teams application in your device/s will be automatically updated to the new version starting in Quarter 2 of 2023. This update is being released by Microsoft for all MS Teams users globally.

If you are not comfortable with the look and feel of the new MS Teams, and you would like to revert to the previous version, please turn off the New Teams toggle on the upper left corner of the MS Teams window.
