Create content in our studios, labs and facilities

The School of Communication, Media and Journalism is home to a range of on-campus creative facilities including VR facilities, digital radio, sound and television studios. These spaces are fitted with industry standard tools and technologies. When creating in these spaces, you'll be guided by our team of experts. 

Our creative spaces

Our on-campus creative facilities, fitted with industry standard technology, include:

  • TV and virtual production studio, where nationally broadcast shows are filmed
  • One of the largest green screens in South Australia
  • Digital Radio Studio, where students can record, produce, and broadcast live radio
  • Sound Studio, featuring an isolation room, control room, and live performance room
  • Adelaide Lab for Immersive Technologies, one of the most advanced laboratories in the country for immersive XR (eXtended Reality), performance capture, AI (Artificial Intelligence), and simulation research, available for selected students.
