The program included a tour of the University of Adelaide’s North Terrace Campus and the South Australian Museum’s Australian Aboriginal cultures gallery. The SA Museum tour was facilitated by Professor John Carty, Professor of Museum and Curatorial Studies at the University of Adelaide and Head of Humanities at the South Australian Museum.

The delegation was in Adelaide to meet with the Group of Eight (Go8) leadership at the 2024 Australia-China University President’s Forum. This was the first and largest Chinese university delegation to meet with Go8 leadership since COVID-19.

The President’s Forum was coordinated by the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), a nationwide organisation with 1,212 Chinese member institutions supporting international educational exchanges and cooperation.
