Students honoured in NASA Robotics Challenge
A diverse team of undergraduate and honours students has been awarded third prize and US$75,000 in the NASA Space Robotics Challenge , as well as an Innovation Award for its work on critical challenges in the competition.

Winner of Three Minute Thesis Competition
PhD student Trang Thi Thu Nguyen (Centre for Global Food and Resources), from Vietnam, is the winner of the University's Three Minute Thesis competition.

On Saturday 2 October, the PVC(I) attended the Indian Australian Association of South Australia’s (IAASA) annual tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 152nd birthday.
Alumni Story - Moutaiz Al-Obaidi
Moutaiz Al-Obaidi, from Iraq, studied a Masters of International Business at the University of Adelaide. He is now a frequent festival headliner at events such as Splendour in the Grass, Beyond the Valley, and RCC at the Adelaide Fringe.
International Student Story - Joash Tham
Singaporean student Joash Tham is the winner of Adelaide Uni’s Got Talent, taking home the grand prize with his song ‘Adelaide For Me’. Joash is currently in his third year of dental school at the University of Adelaide.

The PVC(I) attended an Australia Awards Completion Ceremony to congratulate the achievements of 19 Australia Awards Scholarship holders who graduated with Master degrees from a diverse range of programs.
