New SA Government initiative to create internship opportunities in the French renewable energy industry

The Government of South Australia has partnered with Paris-based energy company Neoen to create six internship opportunities for SA-based students.

Neoen is one of the world's leading independent producers of exclusively renewable energy, and manages solar and wind power assets across Europe, Africa, the Americas and Australia. Under a new agreement with the Department of Energy and Mining, four interns will be recruited from South Australian universities to undertake placements at Neoen's headquarters in Paris, in the areas of business development, data science, human resources and procurement analysis. The successful candidates will be situated with the company for six months, beginning either July 2023 or early 2024. These placements will be supported with a salary, accommodation and return flights from Adelaide to Paris.

Applications close 31 March 2023. For more information about the eligibility requirements, or to submit an application, please visit http://www.energymining.sa.gov.au/workinfrance. Interested University of Adelaide PhD candidates are encouraged to contact the Adelaide Graduate Research School's internship team for assistance.
