Supervisor Development

The Adelaide Graduate Research School offers HDR supervisors continuing professional development (CPD) activities, to complement those offered by Faculties and Schools, and the activities of the HDR Supervision Community of Practice.

All supervisors are encouraged to engage in CPD activities to build on their supervisory knowledge and practice, and to ensure they are meeting their obligations as research supervisors under the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research (‘the Code’) and our Research Education and Supervision Policy.

Fast track to principal supervisor training program

New staff and Early Career Researchers who have no prior record of principal supervision may be appointed as a Principal Supervisor once they have completed the required Fast Track to Principal Supervisor training.
