Do you have an idea for how to enhance your students’ learning? Are you looking for a solution to a teaching challenge? Are you wondering how to determine if your teaching approach is effective? In this practical, interactive session you will create an action research plan. Before the session you will receive questions to guide your reflection on how you plan to enhance your teaching practice. During the session you will follow steps in the process of planning action research. You will leave the session with a plan which you can implement across as many cycles of action, observation, and reflection as you need. This approach not only enhances student learning and your scholarly teaching practice, it also provides evidence which can be used to apply for institutional and external opportunities for recognition of your teaching excellence. This session is designed for those teaching or supporting learning at any stage of their career. |
