Evidencing Your Teaching Effectiveness

Intentionally and systematically gathering evidence of teaching effectiveness is key to good teaching practice.

It enables you to develop as an educator and enhance your students' learning experience as well as to support claims for recognition through promotion and/or teaching awards.

In this session you will engage with a holistic approach to using a range of robust and valid sources of evidence. On completion of the session you will have developed a plan of action for gathering evidence suitable for your context and needs.

Following this two-hour workshop lunch will be provided. An AAUT workshop will then be offered to staff wishing to apply for a national teaching award in the future (1pm - 3pm)
