Academic Integrity promoted during O'Week
Developing an understanding of AI values and student obligations in regards to AI will be vital for the nearly 7,400 students commencing their studies with us this year. A number of activities and resources have been developed to educate and support our students on AI.
O'Week
An eye catching “IntegriTEA” campaign will be launched during O'Week. #UoAintegritea posters will be displayed around the North Terrace, Waite and Roseworthy campuses during O'Week, promoting the six AI values:
- Honesty
- Trust
- Respect
- Responsibility
- Courage
- Fairness
Students will have an opportunity to win a $100 gift card by tagging themselves in a photo with the poster in the background. Educators are encouraged to get involved with this campaign by displaying the slides from our resource pack in MyUni Commons. Learning activities and resources to support student understanding of AI and how it relates to specific courses is available for download.
AI module
All commencing undergraduate students will be required to complete an AI module in 2021. Starting in Semester 1 with our undergraduate programs, the new 30-minute, bespoke module will be embedded into selected first-year MyUni courses (courses selected to enable participation by all students without duplication). Coordinators of the selected courses have been contacted.
