Annual Reporting to Animal Ethics Committee

Annual reporting on progress or completion is necessary on each project having active approval by the University of Adelaide Animal Ethics Committee in the calendar year.

The continuation of approval for ongoing projects is subject to receipt and review of annual reporting. Reporting on the project activity provides additional details to assist the AEC and provides evidence of compliance with the Australian code for the care and use of animals for scientific purposes.

Reporting to the AEC (for period 1 January to 31 December)

Please use the following for submission of AEC annual status reports: 

• Annual Report Form 2023
• Table 1 Additional animal table
• Table 2 Breeding colony table

The Annual Report plus Table 1 or 2, where necessary, need to be completed. Please read the instructions within the report to determine if you need to complete Table 1 or 2.
