Professor Russell’s research focuses on patient-reported measures, patient experience, and supported self-management approaches to Interstitial Lung Diseases and related conditions, using mixed methods and patient-centred approaches.
Collaborative research project
Professor Russell’s visit represents a recognition of the importance of building strong global networks in the field of nursing science. In collaboration with University of Adelaide colleagues, Professor Russell will develop a grant application for the NHMRC-NIHR Collaborative Research Grant Scheme, focused on examining whether tailored interventions using cognitive behavioural therapy is effective in managing Interstitial Lung Disease.
