Professor Ghosh’s research focuses on isotope hydrology, carbon sequestration and understanding the oxygen evolution in early earth and metal deposition in hydrothermal and sedimentary layers.

Collaborative research project

In collaboration with University of Adelaide researchers, Professor Ghosh will examine Indian Proterozoic sediments, which will offer scope to understand the profound and irreversible changes in the Earth’s systems during the planet’s early history.
