CoP That! Activate your teaching with active learning strategies

A short lunchtime presentation followed by an informal discussion facilitated by members of the Active Learning and Assessment Community of Practice.

The presentation will include exemplar of how the H5P program can be used to create online, interactive content for our students. Ingrid Sierp will focus on how she has used the program to create step-by-step Pathology tutorials that can be used to supplement student face-to-face tutorials and act as an engaging revision tool.

Kayoko Enomoto will then share how to implement the 360⁰ Feed-forward Active Learning Model that enhances students’ course engagement. Drawing on the ‘Students as Partners’ framework, this active learning model is implemented in partnership with a learning community of students participating in Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS), integrated into an undergraduate course at the University.

This session will be presented via Zoom, with attendees invited to join a post presentation discussion, or interact via chat during the session.  Feel free to enjoy your lunch while attending!
