This 2-part ADEPT module will encourage participants to develop effective formative and summative assessment strategies in their courses.
Assessment and feedback are key to effective learning.
In these sessions you will engage with evidence-based approaches and hear about how they are put into practice.
Session 1: explore the differences between formative and summative assessment; engage with strategies to design effective formative assessment; and learn how to design rubrics which communicate expectations and form part of a feedback strategy.
Session 2: engage with the challenge of designing authentic assessment tasks which reduce the risk of breaches of academic integrity and explore the role that flexible assessment tasks can play in student engagement and success.
This workshop is open to all educators and staff who support educators.
Register to receive the recordings of both sessions.
Please note this module is held over two days via Zoom.
You can choose to attend one or both of the sessions.
Session 1: Tuesday 8 November 10am - 12pm
Session 2: Wednesday 9 November 10am - 12pm
You must register using your University of Adelaide email address.
Registrations close Wednesday 2 November 4pm
