Australian Council of Deans of Science Workshop: Future-Proofing Career Readiness of Science Graduates

You are invited to join us for a collaborative workshop session, where we will work together to explore where, when and how Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is currently implemented within the Sciences curriculum and how it might look into the future. What do students need to succeed in their careers after graduation? What do academics need in order to deliver those skills to students?

As an academic, you bring inside knowledge on the ups and downs of implementing WIL, and this community-of-practice style session will give you the opportunity to share your insights and learn from the experience of others. Through a series of fun and engaging activities, we’ll dive into both the opportunities and challenges you have faced in helping your students be prepared for life after graduation. You’ll come away from the session with some fresh ideas and perspectives as well as the knowledge that you have contributed to the development of national best-practice guidelines that will bolster employability skills in future Science graduates.

Please register your attendance by Thursday 3rd November.

Light refreshments will be provided.

We look forward to meeting you at the workshop!
