AEA

Established in 2016, the Adelaide Education Academy (AEA) aims to promote, support and recognise teaching excellence across the University of Adelaide. The sixty-nine full, and four affiliate, members come to the Academy from across the five facilities, and bring with them with a broad range of specialisms and life experiences.

Course Readings…it’s reading list time

The Library supports the Course Readings system to provide students with access to learning resources in one place within MyUni. Course Readings integrates with Library Search allowing you to link seamlessly to online library resources. Your list can also include a range of other resources including print library materials, and openly accessible online content such as videos and webpages in your list.

First presented in 1991, Stephen Cole the Elder Awards were established through bequest made to the University of Adelaide by a descendant of Stephen Cole the Elder, pioneer South Australian colonist.  We spoke to this year’s deserving winners about what they enjoy about teaching, their teaching philosophy and how they have managed during an extremely challenging 2020.

Indigenous Support in the University Library

Renee Johnson

Since May of 2019, the University Library Indigenous Support Librarian, Renee Johnson has been building a portfolio to connect and support the learning and teaching aspirations of the University’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, staff and researchers, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement and maintaining an effective working relationship with Wirtlu Yarlu Aboriginal Education.
