Academic Integrity Teaching Resources and Training

The University takes an ‘educative’ approach to academic integrity. We believe that students respond best to information about academic integrity when it is embedded into the curriculum, and taught in ways which are immediately relevant to course content and assessments.

To assist you to incorporate information and education about academic integrity into your course, we have collected a range of resources for use in teaching. Our new Teaching Resources page collects resources, activities and approaches to teaching students about academic integrity in your discipline.

There are also a number of training opportunities for staff to learn more about academic integrity. Staff who are involved in marking exams or final assessments can register for our ADEPT Check for Integrity session on Tuesday 15 June, 10-11am for advice on detecting the signs and signals that may indicate breaches of the academic integrity policy.

A self-paced Academic Integrity Module for staff is available to self-enrol. This module provides advice on a range of topics including assessment design for academic integrity. You can also listen back to recordings from our recent Academic Integrity Colloquium to hear University of Adelaide staff and students reflecting on their experiences on academic integrity, as well as a keynote presentation on assessment security by Professor Phillip Dawson (Deakin University).
