Course Reader collection at Ask Library
Course readers are now available to be purchased from the Online Shop. Once purchased, readers can be collected from Ask Library on Level 3 of the Barr Smith Library/Hub Central.
Opening hours for Semester 2
Welcome back everyone! Opening hours for all campus libraries have now changed for the new study period.
Extended hours at the Roseworthy Campus Library
Beginning Monday 29 July, the Roseworthy Campus Library opening hours will be extended, with the library open between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Self-service library trial at Waite
Beginning Monday 29 July 2019, the Waite Campus Library will operate as a self-service library, as part of a University Library pilot program for Semester 2.
Event 25 July: The Kaurna children's letters of 1840-1843
The Kaurna Children’s Letters 1840-1843 to the Dresden Mission Society are an important historical collection held at the University of Adelaide library. Come along to this lunchtime discovery event to hear Associate Professor Rob Amery speak on the significance of these letters and their journey to the library.

NAIDOC Week 7-14 July
NAIDOC week is held between 7-14 July and the theme this year is Voice. Treaty. Truth. Let's work together for a shared future. In recognition of NAIDOC Week, the library has created a display with selected materials from the Barr Smith Main Collection, Law Library, and Yaitya Ngutupira, which showcases this year’s theme. We would like to encourage staff and students to visit the library display during July to learn and increase their knowledge and understanding of the significant issues and challenges we share as a country, with visitors welcome to leave comments on the peg line.
Mid-year break opening hours
We've reached the half-way mark of 2019 and that means changes to the library's opening hours! Mid-year break runs from Saturday 6 July to Monday 29 July.
TRIAL - EMBASE on Ovid
Embase increases the discovery of biomedical evidence to support critical life sciences functions, delivering relevant, up-to-date biomedical information to the global biomedical research community. It allows users to successfully perform critical functions such as pharmacovigilance, as well as generating high-quality systematic reviews in support of evidence-based medicine and drug and medical device efficacy studies.

Submissions are now open for the 2019 Visualise your Thesis competition. This competition is open to higher degree by research students and is a great way to hone your research communication skills.
