Demystifying Research Metrics lecture
This lecture, held on Tuesday 27 August, is for staff and students who would like to find and understand their research metrics. Metrics can be used when applying for grants, promotions and positions. The lecture is particularly useful for research students and Early Career Researchers.
The lecture will:
- Introduce major bibliometric and altmetric measurements.
- Review selected University of Adelaide researcher profiles in Web of Science/Publons and Scopus.
- Explore these metrics:
- Author h-index
- Top ten articles
- Individual article performance
- Journal ranking metrics
- InCites benchmarking measures
- Altmetrics
