Publishing Principles for your Research: a Copyright and Open Access Perspective, 16 October

Deciding where to publish can be complex. In this session we will take you through the key principles that you will need to consider, as well as explore the tools that can help you along the way.

In particular, this session will look at how to make your work open access - such as selecting reputable open access publishers and taking advantage of self-archiving opportunities. We'll also take a look at publication agreements: what they cover, the terms that you should expect and the steps that you can take if you aren't happy with terms on offer.
