End of year closure
Ask Library and all campus libraries (except Barr Smith Library Level 3) will be closed from 3:00 pm on Monday 23 December to Wednesday 1 January 2025 (inclusive).
Level 3 of the Barr Smith Library will continue to be available for students and staff as follows:

- Access to the High Use collection, requests pick-up shelf, laptop self-service unit, and study spaces on Level 3 will be available via your University ID card.
- Online resources will continue to be available 24/7 from any location.
- Ask Library enquiries will be responded to once the service resumes on 2 January 2025.
- Requests for items can continue to be placed via Library Search and will be processed from 2 January 2025.
- Interlibrary loan service resumes on the 6 January 2025.
- Specials Collections items are unavailable until 14 January 2024 when the Special Collections Reading Room reopens.
All campus libraries will reopen on Thursday 2 January 2025. The full opening hours are available here.
