The University Library has teamed up with the Art Gallery of South Australia to highlight Tarnanthi Festival artists and their forerunners. Immerse yourself in some of Australia’s most prestigious and dynamic Australian Indigenous contemporary artists in honour of Tarnanthi Festival 2019. This Festival is an annual celebration showcasing contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art at its best and boldest.

Open Access Week, October 21-27, 2019
Open Access Week 2019 is held October 21-27. If you have been thinking about making your work open access there has never been a better time to get started. Be one of the first 50 people to upload your author accepted manuscript into Aurora and you’ll receive a celebratory chocolate gift!
Sea Snakes, Scholarly Sharing and Open Access
At the beginning of September an article in The Conversation reported the new discovery that a sea snake could breathe through the top of its head. It quickly became one of the most popular science and technology articles for 2019, with over 43,000 reads and being translated into Indonesian. Behind the story was an open access scholarly article.
