Aurora and your Researcher Profile

Capture, report, and promote your research using Aurora and Researcher Profiles.

Aurora (University of Adelaide Researcher Outputs, Reporting and Analytics) is the University's web-based system for capturing and reporting research publications, outputs, professional activities and profile information.

Your online Researcher Profile draws upon information from Aurora that has been automatically harvested, or manually entered by yourself. Used in conjunction with Aurora, your Researcher Profile presents your research activities to the public in a visually attractive and accessible way, to enhance HDR student recruitment, research collaborations, and industry and media engagement.

  • Aurora Features

    • All researchers are set up with Aurora access automatically. Simply login using your UofA network login details.
    • Aurora accounts are populated automatically with historic publication and research output data.
    • Every two weeks, Aurora searches (harvests) online bibliographic databases (data sources) automatically to find new publications and output data for each researcher.
    • Aurora also allows for assisted self-deposit of publications and research outputs.
    • Researchers are welcome to update Aurora with additional information to populate their Researcher Profile, such as education, position, website links, awards, memberships, committee, etc.
    • Administration staff will have access to Aurora including a variety of reporting tools for their faculty, school or institute.
  • Access

All University of Adelaide researchers (including Academic staff, Titleholders and HDR students) and administration staff can access Aurora.

If you are a visiting research staff, or a University staff member seeking delegate and/or additional levels of access (for example, access to reporting tools), please complete an Aurora Access Request Form .
