ADAPT
ADAPT (Any Device Any Place and any Time) provides University staff and students remote access to a range of published research applications and desktops with some compute capability. It provides seamless, secure access to everything you need to get work done - your apps, files and desktops.
ADAPT provides University staff and students with the ability to remotely access a large suite of applications and desktops without needing to use a Virtual Private Network (VPN). Staff and students can easily work offsite using ADAPT to connect to the application and systems they need to do their work without having to outlay any licensing or software costs.

Technical details
ADAPT, also known as Citrix Receiver, is an easy-to-install client software that allows secure instant remote access to all applications, desktops and data from any device, including smartphones, tablets, PCs and Macs.
Citrix Receiver is client software that is required to access applications and full desktops hosted on Citrix servers from a remote client device.

ADAPT is free to use. You will not incur any costs or ongoing charges.

How do I access ADAPT?
ADAPT is available to all staff and students. To access ADAPT, instructions are provided at https://www.adelaide.edu.au/technology/your-tools/academic/adapt. If you have any issues installing ADAPT or require assistance, please log a ticket via the MyIT Portal.
