New look Library Essentials
Library Essentials is an online course designed to teach students the fundamentals of finding, using, evaluating, and acknowledging information in an academic environment at their own pace.
What’s new in 2022?
- Instead of a separate version of Library Essentials for each discipline, students can now enrol in a single self-paced online course, and still receive discipline-specific guidance.
- We have taken this opportunity to improve navigation throughout the course.
What do you need to do?
Share the self-enrol link with students for them to take Library Essentials at their own pace, or contact the Learning Support team to embed content from Library Essentials directly in your MyUni course.
Advanced Library Essentials
The Library also offers a series of advanced Library Essentials courses in certain areas of study that teach advanced database searching. You may want your students to enrol in an advanced course if they are doing higher level research or need to complete systematic literature reviews.
