Award winning partnership

Pearson Australia and University of Adelaide received the ‘Diamond Award’ for Best Learning & Talent Development Suite for LearnX, at the end of 2022.

This prize recognises the significant collaboration across University of Adelaide teams (both academic/teaching and professional/administrative) in conjunction with Pearson counterparts in the design, development and delivery of Alliance programs. Whilst demonstrating exceptional effort in navigating the complex challenges of delivering on such an innovative Partnership, colleagues across many areas of the University have shown collegiality, tenacity and creativity. This award, and the recognition it offers, is for them.

The original intent of the partnership with Pearson was to develop an array of online courses and it has helped to grow the University’s capacity to deliver online education, especially regarding providing greater access to remote and regional students who might otherwise not pursue tertiary education. These online courses have grown the University’s brand across the online program market and firmly established a new revenue stream for the University. Overall, the creation and delivery of these Programs (as well as the other online offerings from the University of Adelaide) contributes to the advancement of the education industry in an increasingly interconnected and digital landscape.
