The Disability inclusion Training provided by JFA Purple Orange is designed to enhance your understanding of disability inclusion. Through this training, you will gain valuable tools to engage effectively and positively with people with disabilities, while challenging and addressing any biases or assumptions you may have. You will develop key skills to create an inclusive environment, ensuring that people with disabilities can fully and equally participate within the University.
What you will gain?
- Improved ability to engage and communicate respectfully and confidently with people with disability
- Enhanced understanding of disability issues, recognising the diversity of both visible and invisible disabilities
- Awareness of how the Social Model of Disability and principles of Universal Design can be integrated into the workplace environment.
