HSW Handbook update: Event Safety Management FAQs

The information on Event Safety Management has been revised.

The information is designed as a guide for University staff on the safety aspects of running events and should be read in conjunction with the Hazard Management HSW Handbook chapter.

The information includes:

• revised traffic management information to assist with ensuring vehicles (including forklifts, cranes, cherry pickers, semi-trailers or other heavy vehicles) and pedestrians are appropriately separated
• a revised Event Safety checklist template (Appendix A)
• a revised Event Safety Management Plan (Risk Assessment) template (Appendix B)
• a revised Event Induction Checklist (Appendix D)
