Updated HSW Handbook Chapter: Plant/Equipment Management

The updated Plant/Equipment Management Chapter of the University of Adelaide’s Health, Safety and Wellbeing Handbook sets out specific requirements for plant/equipment hazard management and registration and licensing requirements.

This chapter was reviewed to:

• remove electrical management sections that are contained in the new Electrical Safety Management Chapter
• ensure responsibilities for day to day management of plant were assigned to the supervisors responsible
• ensure the chapter still meets legislative requirements and that role titles were current.
