Mood and weight - is there a link?
A lunchtime seminar with Dr Mike Musker
COVID has disrupted our lives significantly, affecting our social relationships, our lifestyle, and the way we work. Working from home may have changed our usual routine of socialising and going to the gym or exercising, whilst at the same time allowing us easier access to the food pantry. We may have found that we have gained kilos or maybe our mood has started to go downhill.
However it is possible to get back on track by returning to our positive behaviours. Managing your lifestyle can lead to wellbeing and resilience and prepare us for difficult times when life isn’t going to plan.
Dr Mike Musker will present about his research into depression and obesity and discuss some of the factors that affect both our mood and our weight.
When: 5 July 2021, 12:30 to 1:30pm
Where: Barr Smith South 2060, North Terrace
