Student-friendly easy breakfast ideas
Okay, so I don’t like to admit it, but sometimes it’s easier for me to skip breakfast. It’s not great because it means I get hungrier at midday and tired earlier in the day. I’ve been working at carving enough time to have a decent breakfast because I know it will allow a good start to the day. It gives me the energy I need and a real boost to make sure I start the day right.
De-cluttering
Sometimes the amount of stuff that I collect or store away in a cupboard sneaks up on me and before I know it, I need to de-clutter.

Things we don't have to do
Sometimes we forget that we don't actually have to do what everyone else is doing just because it's normal, or because it's been ingrained into our brains as a social norm since we were babies. To apologise for something, or to follow trends because social media said so, or hide your true self in fear of being judged. Violence against women is a men's issue
It’s Safer Campus Community Week, and I'm wondering how we can hope to create a safe and respectful environment at a time when we are experiencing a global epidemic of violence against one of our most vulnerable groups: women.
Online comfort food
Now that we’ve lived in a global pandemic for over a year, it’s safe to say the well of content available online is starting to dry up, and with much of the world still in lockdown, we can’t ignore the fact that our relationship with entertainment has changed.

It's quite a tricky subject, but nevertheless, I think it's a crucial aspect of wellbeing. Bills and fees are sources of stress for most of us after all. I think, like with mental wellbeing, a good place to start is to have good habits in place. Mindfulness and meditation are good daily practices which give us the ability to better weather challenging times in our life. Creating a budget allows you to prioritise the things you value, such as:
The trouble with 'dreaming big'
As kids, we’re told to dream big. We’re told that if we put our minds to it, we can achieve anything. But has the emphasis on achieving our dreams helped us, or hindered us?
