Roses and truths

I never really used to like roses. I think growing up I used to simply associate them with the Valentine’s Day cliche.
What a hectic week!

My gosh, what a hectic week it’s been. Nothing crazy happened in particular but this week has felt like a vortex that kept pulling me in deeper and deeper into the void before I can even finish spelling ‘study schedule’.
Donating blood

I few weeks ago I donated blood for the first time. I was encouraged to do so by a Tri-Society Blood Drive (University of Adelaide Medicine, Engineering and Law Society). Donating blood had never been at the forefront of my mind until recently.
When the borders open

As the opening of some borders and the ability to travel internationally approaches, there’s no doubt that everyone is super keen to get the hell out of here and make the most of our lives again. So where would you go?
Having short showers

Hot showers are the best! They are relaxing, comforting and a way I can have my own escape. Unfortunately, I have found that I can overdo a long hot shower.
Mentally preparing for finals

Forgetting to eat

When I start to get really busy and stressed out I find it hard to remember to eat regularly.

It always seems like there isn't much to do for Halloween in Adelaide but I have recently discovered some really cool spooky places to check out.
Embracing university life

These past few weeks have been so exciting with events run by Student Wellbeing, Adelaide University Union and student clubs. It’s been fantastic meeting new friends and trying out new things.
