Adelaide Health & Medical Sciences Building
The Adelaide Health & Medical Sciences (AHMS) building is the largest capital works project in the University’s history and signified a new era in Australian medical education.
The AHMS houses the University’s medical, nursing, public health and dental researchers, undergraduates and clinicians, as well as the Adelaide Dental Hospital. It brings together more than 1,600 students and 600 health researchers in a vibrant and innovative environment, where learning and discovery work hand in hand.
The building has been designed to transform the way students learn and prepare future health care leaders for professional practice. State-of-the-art advanced simulation suites mirror the new Royal Adelaide Hospital and enable immersive, skill-based learning.
