A state-of-the-art Digital Presentation Suite in the Barr Smith Library is an exciting new hybrid studio facility.

Digital Presentation Suites

The suite features a fully automated self-serve facilities for staff to record 4K asynchronous learning content and deliver synchronous live online teaching. This and several other planned projects were identified in the University’s Learning and Teaching Space Transformation Vision as crucial for improving the standard of online learning experience for students.

  • “Live Key” functionality to replace the green screen with content live.

  • Overhead camera to record a demonstration or annotation.
  • Dual source recording.
  • Zoom PC for live teaching.
  • Editing suite, green room and tea point. 
  • A central location close to the adjacent Recording Studio, with space to expand the facilities and add suites over time.
  • Safe, after-hours access via the Hughes building.
