Contractor Parking

A parking permit is required each time you need to park at the North Terrace campus. All other campuses have parking available in designated car parks, no permits are required.

Contractors working anywhere at the North Terrace campus are encouraged to park in either the Nexus 10 basement carpark (10 Pulteney Street, access via driveway on eastern side before Centrepoint building) or the Napier underground car park (access via North Terrace).

If you need to bring tools and equipment onto site, 15-minute loading bays are available.

Request a temporary permit

  1. Log in to the Parking Permit Portal, providing at least 72 hours for the permit to be processed.
  2. Specify the dates you require the permit, up to a maximum of two weeks, and your vehicle registration number.
  3. Once your application is approved, take the confirmation email, either printed or electronically, to the Security Office to collect your permit.

Conditions of parking

  • Park within the white lined parking areas only.
  • The permit is not valid in reserved, blue or yellow lined areas, disability access parking areas, 15-minute parks or loading bays.
  • Any vehicle without a valid permit will be issued with a parking fine which is the responsibility of the contractor to pay.
  • You must be doing work for the University on all days that you park on campus.
