The Scott Theatre is the largest lecture theatre on campus and is a popular performance venue for theatre, musicals and dance.

Conditions

  • No food or drink (bottled water permitted) to be consumed in the Theatre.
  • Theatre to be left neat and tidy upon completion of the event.
  • Smoke machines are permitted to be used, however, the event organiser must provide dates and times of use so that appropriate actions can be taken by the University e.g. smoke isolation forms.
  • The standard AV equipment must not be used for theatre events as it is calibrated to university lecture standards.

Audio visual/theatre technician

A qualified theatre technician must be present at the venue for the duration of the hire period to ensure equipment is used correctly. The technician will quote and charge you separately.
