Roseworthy Teaching Lab refresh

Multiple rooms in the Williams building at the Roseworthy Campus are being refreshed, including teaching labs for the School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences.

Project detail

The project will be completed in three stages.

  • Stage 1: Six offices, Foyer G0.1 and associated corridors. Completed February 2024.
  • Stage 2: Additional work to Foyer G0.1. Completed April 2024.
  • Stage 3: Laboratory G0.12, nearby Preparation Rooms and Wash-up room. Expected completion is July 2024.

Artist impression of the retractable bird enclosure. 

Works to the teaching labs will include new benches, hydraulic services, lighting, and paint. The labs will also feature floor-to-ceiling retractable bird netting, so that students can participate in lessons with live birds.

Works to surrounding offices, corridors and the foyer will include new carpets and joinery, updated feature lighting and fresh paint.
